A few things you might be wondering.
Do I need to know anything about servers?
No. Pick your apps from the catalog and Terrarium handles the hosting. Some apps ask you to create their own username and password during setup; the dashboard guides you through it.
Is music or audiobook content included?
You bring your own music and audiobook files. Terrarium gives them a home and provides the apps to organize and enjoy them. It does not include a streaming subscription or a licensed content catalog.
What does “my own apps” mean?
You get your own private instances of apps such as Navidrome, Mealie, and Memos, hosted by Terrarium. You use them through your browser, and supported apps can also connect to compatible phone clients.
Why do the animals fall asleep?
They reflect what your apps are doing. Apps sleep when they’re idle and wake automatically when you open them. Waking can take a few seconds. Here on the windowsill, you can select a companion to explore its app.
